RIM - リムは、イースト ロンドンを拠点とするデザイナー兼アートディレクター、JUTTA GOESSL（ユッタ・ゴスル）とそのチームがお届けするアートタイルです。陶磁器の裏側によく見られる輪や縁を意味する「RIM - リム」が名前の由来です。光沢のある釉薬の浴槽から浮き上がったような縁、自然に生じる色のグラデーション、素晴らしく複雑な光の反射など、デザイナーならではのユニークな造形美を実現しました。
RIM is an art tile by East London based designer and art director JUTTAGOESSL and his team. The name “RIM” comes from the rings or rims often found on the back of ceramics. The rims seem to float out of a bath of glossy glaze, the naturally occurring gradations of color and the wonderfully intricate reflections of light create a unique formal beauty that only the designers could have achieved.
